Retail Contracting, Inc.,
provides the services of general construction, site supervision, and construction management.
We begin by
partnering with clients at the contract award stage (for bid
projects), and mutually agree upon the details of the project ranging
from; start and completion dates, key milestone dates, on site
superintendents, project documentation, project communication, and
project closeout. For negotiated projects, we begin by partnering with
our clients during the design stage, and work collaboratively with the
owner, designer, engineers, city officials, and landlords from the
point of conceptual drawing, to the reality of opening the doors of
the retail store for their Grand Opening.
Our reputation of past
project performance, communication, and success gives us the best
competitive advantage when working with existing clients.
Our pricing is generally
based upon a percentage of the general construction costs. On select
negotiated projects, we have negotiated a project fee, in lieu of a
project percentage, in order to help the owner track where future
project costs will end.
For retailers who
do not have the time or personnel to track and follow up on the
maintenance of their stores, Retail Contracting, Inc., offers to
assist in ongoing maintenance, or service calls. We partner with local
or regional subcontractors (depending on the location) who have a
history of high quality and performance, and together ensure any
service or maintenance needs are met. Service and maintenance work is
performed on a cost plus admin plus OH&P based upon a percentage
of the construction cost.
